MIKE KELLEY [ K-001A ]
Untitled (Voices)
-- --
Equipment:
Reel to reel, high quality multi-speed tape recorder, and microphone
  1. Place microphone inside a wooden box lined with cotton or similar insulation material so that no ambient noise is picked up by the microphone.

  2. At the fastest recording speed and at the highest volume possible, let the tape recorder record until the reel is used up. Preferably, the recording should be done at a location with a colorful or weird history.

  3. Play back the recording at the slowest speed and highest volume possible so that white noise or hiss is magnified. My preferred location for playback would be a disco.

  4. During playback, designated "listeners" should listen for and document any paranormal voices. This can be done while dancing, if the listeners are so inclined.

  5. Any voices should be documented; the particular words or phrases should be written down.

  6. Send me a copy of the finished tape, along with information regarding the place it was recorded. Send me a snapshot of the place it was recorded, if possible along with an explanation why that particular location was appropriate. If any "voices" were recognized, transcribe them and send a copy of the transcript along with the tape and snapshots to the address below:
