PEPÓN OSORIO [ O-002A ]
Home Cleansing
-- 1995

For those who need a quick cleansing of the home, due to bad, stuffy air, unwanted visitors, occasional bad luck, or just plain bad luck.

Ingredients:
- Small ceramic dish
- Garlic
- Water
- Cigar
- Small wooden chips
- Matches
- Your own nails
- Incense (myrrh or frankincense)
- Flowers
- Glass bowl

Have all ingredients ready before starting.

Light the cigar. You don't need to smoke the entire cigar, just enough to last you through the ritual.

Open all windows and turn on all water faucets in the house (this allows the bad energy to leave the home). Cut your fingernails and put them in the small ceramic dish with plenty of garlic, wooden chips, and some ashes from the cigar. Light with matches. With the cigar in one hand and the dish in the other walk around the house fanning the dish and the cigar so that the smoke gets into every corner of the house. The dish must remain lit during the first part. Once all areas of the house have been completely cleaned, leave the ceramic dish by a principal window.

In another dish put your incense; light it and then go back and repeat the cleansing. Invoke good spirits and welcome health, light, and renewal. Your home should now feel energized, full of light and have a fragrant scent. Close all windows. Put fresh water from the faucet in a bowl, leave it next to your bed or the main door with flowers and the unlit cigar for seven days. This should help to clear the air. Please discard the garlic, nails, and wooden chips outside your home. This home ritual can be repeated at least once a month. |
