Piece for a minimum of 8 participants and an equal number of chairs.

The piece should take place in a large space (a white cube of at least 10 meters by 10 meters). Before the beginning of the piece, a number of chairs equal to the number of participants are placed in the space such that each participant, while sitting on a chair and leaning on its back, can see some, but not all of the other participants (very important). Before the beginning of the piece each participant chooses a movement that starts with him seated on the chair. If possible these movements should not be shown to the other participants before the beginning of the game. The movements should be as simple as possible. It should be possible to execute and repeat them during a prolonged period of time with almost no alteration. The chosen movements should be no longer than five seconds long, and should be repeated constantly. The participants decide together when the piece starts and should all begin by sitting down. Each participant perform his movement at will, trying at the same time to learn a movement from another participant through observation (learning should be done by observation only). When a participant can perform a learned movement, he or she can execute and repeat it, at least x times in a row (x should be determined by the group of participants at the beginning of the game). The participants may learn as many movements from the others as they wish during the piece, and they can repeat all the different movements as many time as they like. The piece should continue until every participant has the feeling that he or she is executing the same movement at the same time as the rest of the participants and/or until a preset time (at least 20 minutes).|
